Our law school A-Z lists all UK higher education institutions offering a qualifying law degree (QLD). QLDs are recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board as meeting the requirements for completing the academic stage of legal education for solicitors or barristers.
BPP Law School and the College of Law have obtained degree awarding powers - BPP offers three undergraduate degrees, while the College of Law awards a degree level qualification to students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and a vocational course.
Qualifying law degrees are also offered by a number of institutions in Ireland, as well as by several overseas in collaboration with UK institutions - see the academic stage page on the Solicitors Regulation Authority website for full details.
The Law Careers.net course search page offers law degree searches by region, as well as for part time or distance learning courses.
