Using SlideShare at LILAC 2009
Almost all the presenters at LILAC 2009 used presentations as part of their session. Often these slides give a useful overview of the contents of a session - so we've made them available using the Slideshare service.
After checking with the presenters, we uploaded the slides to the UKCLE Slidespace and embedded them at the foot of the page for their paper. We tagged the 22 slidesets with "LILAC09" as well as with subject keywords to help navigate the collection.
If you're not familiar with it, SlideShare offers a handy way of giving access to slides without leaving your Web browser - you can simply page through the slides on the screen. It also boast the full set of social networking feautres - you can add tags and favorites, share slides with others and even embed them in your own website or blog.
